We are a woman and veteran owned café that opened in September of 2020. Built around a strong sense of community and specialty coffee - shout out to our roaster Commonplace Coffee, we proudly serve quality house made ingredients and genuine hospitality. Our focus is dialed in on craft coffee beverages, thoughtfully prepared food and locally sourced goods in a relaxed space made for lingering. We also love share our space for private event rentals and communal gatherings. In 2023 we opened our licensed commissary kitchen (available for rent BTW) and expanded from just coffee and pastries to a breakfast and lunch cafe. Our passion and focus is to create an experience people come back to time and time again because it's where they feel they belong. It is our mission to create a space that fosters communal growth as well as your personal growth. Awesome coffee shop the staff is friendly as soon as I walked through the door I was greeting with a smile and pleasant coffee aromas. I had ordered a iced coffee and bagley sandwich! The bathrooms were very clean and neat. Lots of seats and space inside. Peaceful atmosphere two gentlemen were reading when I stopped in. Food was got and delicious definitely made my morning better!

Wonderful coffee shop in the main section of Ambridge as soon as you get off the bridge. Plenty of seating and drink options. Handmade syrups make for a delectable coffee experience. The teas are very pure and taste amazing. Every barista serves with a smile, knowing exactly what to recommend too just in case you aren't sure. Bagels, scones, and other breakfast treats available for purchase!

I'm not in Ambridge much, but when I am, it's always great to stop in Merchant Coffee for a couple hours of remote work. The coffee is good, the atmosphere in nice, and the food menu is solid (especially the frittata).

Very welcoming coffee place. We got the chai latte and vanilla cappuccino. Drinks were delicious and the area was big and clean. Would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.
